Over the years my work has undergone a number of changes involving the use of different tools and processes. Some aspects of these changes are reflected on the pages of this gallery.

Sculpture dominated my artistic interests for about ten years, from 1964, while I was living in Canada. Most of this work was with wood, and initially made through carving. The philosophy and work of artists such as Moore, Hepworth, Brancusi and Noguchi were natural influences on my life at that time. Later, my sculptures were constructed from planed or rough sawn timbers, generally on a much larger scale.
My first use of oil pastels was in 1971. This series of quite large works with the medium dates from the mid 1970's and after I had returned to England.
A significant shift occurred in my whole approach to the making of art with the use of a computer in 2005. A fresh body of work was initiated. On the Digital page are images from the past few years other than those in Gallery One.
